Volunteerism

After participating in many VIA projects and volunteerism activities, such as the Citi Para Swimming World Series Singapore 2024 (volunteer at ActiveSG), Team Nila Serve to Lead World Cup Qualifiers 2024 (volunteer at ActiveSG), Learning for Life Programme (Kong Hwa School Engagement), Elder Engagement Session at Thye Hua Kwan Moral Societies, and volunteering at Willing Hearts, I developed a deeper understanding of others' needs and learned about their struggles. From helping people with disabilities or the elderly, I also learned to be more respectful as I worked with many diverse groups of people, which made me respect their different perspectives and work harmoniously with others.

Basketball

With my unwavering passion for basketball, I really enjoy playing with my friends at the many local basketball courts Singapore has. Not only can I stay fit and healthy from playing basketball, but I can also improve my strategic thinking as I need to come up with ways to drive and score towards the basket. I also make many new friends at these courts, which helps boost my social interaction. Whether I am playing a casual game with my friends or in a competitive setting, basketball provides a fantastic outlet for physical activity and social interaction.
